Knitting intentions for 2011

  1. knit more special challenging projects
  2. use my handspun more often
  3. reduce my stash a bit

 

The stash reduction worked during the spring and summer months …  Hmmm … say no more. The intention was good :-)) S.A.D.  starting early august and I decided to stop with my webshop MoonWise did my stash amount explode again.  Stash amount: December 21, 2010 – est. 50230 meters December 17, 2011 – est. 54810 meters (not counting the undyed yarns)

11 in 2011 – 11 knitting goals

  1. technique to explore in depth: fair isle –  a lot of reading about history done, some projects knitted – consider this done :-)
  2. technique to give a try: brioche knitting – done
  3. technique to give a try: double knitting – done
  4. design and knit a pullover/cardigan (my own design!) – a bit to ambitious, maybe next year ;-)
  5. knit with a special/luxury yarn: Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift - done
  6. knit  a special pagan themed pattern; perhaps the lace shawl Dryad by Silva Harding - done
  7. finish the TKGA Master Hand Level I – follow my progress - OMG, this stresses me out way to much – hibernating
  8. knit 11 projects from stash **
  9. knit a cardigan for the summer with Drops Bomull/Lin – done
  10. try to work a knitting pattern written in Japanese, Norsk or Finnish ;-) – done
  11. working with recycled stuff; plarn and tarn – done
