A lot of WIP these days ;-)
Some gifts, a lot for myself… It is so tempting to start new projects. This week I ordered the pattern for Lughnasadh shawl from the Goddess Knits. Love to start it with Garnstudio Drops Alpaca in black. Well, lets activate some discipline and make some of these WIP into FO … before I start another project. :-)

Firestarter Jr.
Firestarter, Yarnissima’s fabulous pattern I love to make for myself also. Jr. is the pair of socks for my little nephew. I still have to work the heel and cuff of the second sock. That should work this week!

Danica
Entrelac scarf for my hubbie. Knitted about 35%. Love to knit a triangle or square in between the daily activities.

Celtic cable scarf

Celtic cable scarf
Love this cabled scarf….. The problem is this pattern takes a good concentration for me to knit it. Knitted about 15% in 2 months. Slooooooooowly I make some progress, it seems almost hibernating ;-)

Hollyhock
Hollyhock, the shetland yarn proudly presented in my previous posting, I will use to make the Portia from Rowan Studio 4. I did knit my swatch and will start knitting today. A nice project to work on during the SnB gatherings. With only stockinette to knit I should be able to knit and chat :-))

Home & Hearth
My first pair from Cat Bordhi’s New Pathways for Sock Knitters. Love the simplicity of the eyelets in these toe-up anklets. I am very curious how this pattern works out with my own hand dyed and hand spun yarn Purples. The sock architecture is quite different, have to double check my calculations today. The toe seems very short ?!?.

Gotthic
Montparnasse, a swingy asymmetrical cardigan I am knitting for my own hand spun grey gottlander. I have finished the front and back all ready. Knitted on US 9 / 5.5 mm, it works very quickly. Still have to spin some more yarn to work the sleeves and collar. Hope I have got enough fleece for it…

Hoi!

Is Montparnasse Gothic? Nee toch? Ik vind dat zo’n leuk vestding dat ik het ook wel zou willen maken, maar ik en gothic…LOL
