It’s showtime! The last week I finished (and even started) these projects. Although my left hand still hurts, I found a way to continue knitting. I was so glad, knitting works better for me then anti-depressives do ;-)

Luella, made from Storm op Zolder hand dyed blue faced leicester sockyarn. The colorway is “Lentefee” – Fairy of Spring. The pattern is the well known Jaywalker designed by Grumperina. I have tried to knit this pattern last year twice. This time with my Knit Picks dpn US 1 the gauge worked out right. Couldn’t stop knitting them. Right from the needles on my feet, had to wash them before taking this pic ;-)

The chevron pattern and the yarn worked so nice, I improvised Luella Jr. with 44 stitches. I think it is the size for a 3 months old… The cutest baby socks I knitted so far for our grandchild :-)

A quick knitting project I did yesterday. The Norwegian Sweet Baby Cap designed by Gro. I used 15 grams of hand dyed sock yarn for this sweet baby cap. I adjusted the number of stitches casted on to 115, it will fit at the age of 3 months (I hope).

Violine is a brassiere, a sweater with buttons on the back, the size I knitted is for 3 months. It looks so big to me. Well the little one will grow into it soon enough. I made it of Phildar Phil’Bambou and Phildar Plumetis. I loved knitting with the 100% bamboo yarn, it feels so soft. The Plumetis is 100% nylon and makes the littles fluffie things.

Wat prachtig allemaal! De kleuren vind ik zo mooi (maar dat zal je zo langzamerhand niet verbazen denk ik).
Leuk dat je al die dingetjes kunt maken voor je aanstaande kleinkind.
