This weeks experiments :-)

I heard of the existence of sock blanks a few months ago, but couldn’t find any info about it. Time for some experimenting! I knitted a blank of undyed Trekking sockyarn with a double strand. I dyed it in some nice colors, green, brown, purple and deep red. Next fase: I’ll rip it out and knit a two at once toe-up sock.

sept 3, 2008 - Synchronicity occurs: one of my friends faved a dyed sock blank at Ravelry and I found some info at KnitPicks.com

First time crochet project; a hat made from a single handspun texelaar. This one fits a tiny doll.

It is a concept for making a large one for myself. In october we celibrate the 10th anniversary of the “Landelijke Spingroep” with a “hoedenparade” - showing hats made of our hand spun yarns.

One Response to “Labwork!”

Wat een aparte manier om sokkengaren te verven. Veel werk maar de sokken worden vast heel mooi.

Het heksenhoedje ziet er mooi uit.
