Trevi-like socklets

Finally took some time to make pics of the finished Trevi socks. Trevi Socks, designed by Cloudsofdust, is the pattern that came with the third package of the Dutch Sokketiers Sockclub. I loved knitting with the yarn, a great base yarn. Have to ask Storm op Zolder about it!

Knitting with beads isn’t my cup of tea. At least not when you have to get them all on the thread before knitting them. I think it weakens the yarn a bit, when you move the beads around. I love the separate toe thingy. It feels good wearing them with my (red) flip flops, it look awfull!. My new black Birckenstock flip flops are ordered, they will are arrive in a week or 3. It will look real nice with them I guess ;-)

Cairdeas

I have finished the second sock of the Cairdeas by Yarnissima too. After one and a half sock the deep green wasn’t in tune with the fresh spring green colors around me. Love the color, love the pattern, it will be a nice pair of socks for next winter.

btw …  this yarn is one of my prototype kettle dyed nearly solid sock yarns for the MoonWise Seasons & Elements collection ;-)
