It’s showtime! The last week I finished (and even started) these projects. Although my left hand still hurts, I found a way to continue knitting. I was so glad, knitting works better for me then anti-depressives do ;-)

Luella, made from Storm op Zolder hand dyed blue faced leicester sockyarn. The colorway is “Lentefee” - Fairy [...]

FO: Basalt Tank

Wollig on June 27th, 2008

A nice small project for all the cats I love! The first two mice are made from left overs of handspun Ouessant en Shetland fleece, filled with catnip. It is a gift for the cat of a friend of mine.

Wollig on February 14th, 2008

Monkey socks made from Blue Faced Leicester sockyarn, handdyed myself in the colors of blackberry in cream.

My first large project of hand spun yarn; I am so proud … A better picture, showing it myself will follow asap, showing [...]

FO: Headband

Wollig on December 22nd, 2007

Two days I made a Drops design headband.
An easy project for an afternoon of knitting. Let’s keep those ears warm now it is freezing cold outside ;-) My head is a bit bigger so I had to enlarge the pattern, didn’t have enough on two skeins of Eskimo yarn. So I finished this [...]

Happy knitting

Wollig on December 8th, 2007

Lot’s of knitting time this week!
Afgelopen week heb ik veel tijd besteed aan breien.
Heerlijk op de bank, met een pot thee en een dvd,
kaarsjes aan, een wierookje,
ontspannen.

Very happy knitting! The back of the Rowan Portia sweater,
hand dyed and hand spun shetland yarn Hollyhock, is halfway finished.
Het achterpand van de Rowan Portia is al weer halverwege.
Heerlijk [...]

Some gifts, a lot for myself… It is so tempting to start new projects. This week I ordered the pattern for Lughnasadh shawl from the Goddess Knits. Love to start it with Garnstudio Drops Alpaca in black. Well, lets activate some discipline and make some of these WIP into [...]
