My buddy of the Magic Ball swap send me in the parcel a hand dyed yarn in a mauve-taupe-chestnut like color. The yarn inspired my to design this pattern with twisted stitches, working toe-up. The yarn hasn’t much twist set in it, so the twisted stitches appear a bit diffuse.

The third pair of the Sock Knitters Pentathlon is finished. This pattern was really a struggle to knit. It had lot’s of potential to become an UFO. I had to convince myself to carry on knitting.
