Just chatting …

Wipswrestling … two of my projects are finished.
The third one, the most challenging is frogged. Again! I give up! After completing the heel I noticed La Digitesse didn’t fit my feet. I made so many mistakes I was no longer content with it. I decided to frog again. Maybe I’ll start a third attempt in [...]

Pattern: Maeve

My buddy of the Magic Ball swap send me in the parcel a hand dyed yarn in a mauve-taupe-chestnut like color. The yarn inspired my to design this pattern with twisted stitches, working toe-up. The yarn hasn’t much twist set in it, so the twisted stitches appear a bit diffuse.
These socks have a striking twisted [...]

FO: SKP3 - Rattlesnake Creek

The third pair of the Sock Knitters Pentathlon is finished. This pattern was really a struggle to knit. It had lot’s of potential to become an UFO. I had to convince myself to carry on knitting.

FO: Cut&Paste

The first pair of socks out of the yarn in my magic ball is finished. I really love them, though the are a bit warm to wear in this hot dutch summer, 30 degrees C or up didn’t keep my from knitting either ;-)

FO: Woven Ridge Socks

Never finished a pair of socks this quick…

Love the linen stitch on top, which hides the increases for the gusset.

Look at the way the fabric works at the gusset.
The Woven Ridge Socks of Cat Bordhi, New Pathways for Sock Knitters was in my queue for a long time. Just as the Colinette yarn was in [...]

WIP: SKP2 Berlin Muster

Just started the first of the new SKP; Berlin Muster.
This yarn is Wolwereld BFL Sock Yarn hand dyed in the color Ranonkel.

FO: Binnenstebuiten

The insideout-sock was a quick and easy knit, due knitting every 6 rounds an even row it was not boring.  Fun to turn the socks inside out while knitting to see the pattern grow.
